Tamura Masaya

"The most important thing is to provide dishes that bring joy to our customers."

I am a chef dedicated to Japanese cuisine. My 15-year career began at an established restaurant in Funabashi. More recently, I had the privilege of working at a reservation-only Japanese restaurant in Ginza.

Currently, I work as a freelance chef, collaborating with restaurants for events, conducting cooking classes, and offering recipe suggestions to businesses, among various other culinary activities. I also serve as an instructor for Japanese cuisine at a culinary school, where I am committed to nurturing the next generation of chefs.

 

"In recent times, pursuing a career solely as a chef can be quite challenging, but I believe that if there's the assurance that you can continue doing what you love and find joy and charm in it, there might be an increase in young people who choose to pursue a career in cooking."

I aim to prove this vision by embodying it myself, not only for the people who have supported me but also for my students.

That's why I decided to take on the role of a freelance chef. Currently, until I establish my own restaurant, I intentionally avoid using a specific restaurant name. Instead, wherever I am, it's known as "Tamura Masaya's Restaurant." I'm taking on various culinary challenges under this name.

I invite you to savor the dishes created by "Tamura Masaya's Restaurant" in the comfort of your home or workplace.

  • Cookware: Basic ingredients are brought by the customer.(Free)
  • Seasoning: You can bring your own.
  • Transportation: Basic transportation cost by train: Starting from ¥2,000. For larger groups or when opting for additional services such as tableware, transportation by car is available starting from ¥5,000.

Seasonal Kaiseki Course "Yuki" for ¥7,000. (For 6 to 10 people)

A special course recommended for a luxurious family lunch or a girls' gathering during lunchtime.

This 7-course menu is crafted from carefully selected ingredients, including a delightful dessert.

The rice used for the meal is "Tsubusuke," a variety released in 2020 after 13 years of breeding improvement in Chiba Prefecture.

We source it directly from the producer, ensuring utmost quality and safety!
